Oreochromis Niloticus or White Nile Tilapia are a great addition to any aquaponic system. They are also a great source of gmo free protein. Tilapia serve as a natural biological control for most aquatic plant problems. They grow to 20”in length and 10 pounds in weight. Their max life expectancy is ten years. Fish will be approximately 1.5” in length when shipped. These fish have a cold hardiness of 48 degrees. They will be a mix of males and females.
